Innovation Fair 2025
2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the Bricklin, a 1975 car designed for safety with a reinforced fiberglass body, energy-absorbing bumpers, and a roll cage. Though not commercially successful, it highlights the value of learning from past innovations.
This year’s Regional Innovation Fair, themed "Community of the Future", will take place on April 10th at École Secondaire Népisiguit in Bathurst, NB. Students are challenged to apply historical lessons to build sustainable, inclusive communities. Projects will draw inspiration from Atlantic Canadian inventions like the Bricklin, encouraging teachers to blend history with future-focused thinking—such as designing sustainable transportation solutions. We look forward to seeing the innovative ideas that will shape our future communities!

"What an amazing day for all involved with the Brilliant Labs Innovation Fair hosted in Miramichi. Shoutout to the 19 participating students from Blackville, who well represented our school and showcased to everyone their awesome work! Incredible projects from all over Atlantic Canada with huge crowds viewing the projects throughout the day.
